Medical Weight Management

Medical treatment by physician board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. We evaluate and treat the health of each individual to determine potential causes of excess weight and associated conditions including pre-diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and high cholesterol. We work with the individual to formulate a program to prevent, improve, or reverse these conditions. Each program includes a comprehensive approach that is tailored to the individual. Programs have been offered since 2015 and were created and developed by Valerie Sutherland, MD.

Concierge Internal Medicine

Dr. Sutherland's primary care panel is full at this time. For established patients who wish to have their full primary care performed by Dr. Sutherland, due to the concierge nature of the practice, there is a $1400 annual out of pocket membership fee due at the time of establishing care. Insurance is billed "fee for service" for services which are covered under insurance, such as scheduled office or virtual visits or preventive visits.
